Insurance Plans
For Providence Health Plan members: Starting January 1, 2021, Providence is bringing the contracting for behavioral health services "in-house". They currently use the organization Optum to provide authorizations, payments, and a provider network. Western is contracted with Providence to provide services to their members. We will be able to provide these without any interruption and change in services.
This list of health plans includes most of the major insurance companies in the Metro area. Please contact the LifeStance location nearest you to inquire if your insurance is contracted with LifeStance. Additionally, you may contact your insurance company for a list of LifeStance practitioners.
Health plans have a Mental Health benefit and a Substance Use Disorder benefit for "medically necessary" services. There are also Employee Assistance Programs. These programs offer a set number of sessions that do not require "medical necessity".
