Dr. Blakey uses a cognitive-behavioral approach.
Dr. Blakey is a child, adolescent, and family psychologist. He also specializes in psychological assessment and consultation with schools including evaluations for ADHD; Asperger's disorder; Learning Disabilities; and Developmental Disabilities. Dr. Blakey worked as a special education teacher and school psychologist prior to completing his Ph.D. in clinical psychology. He has worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Azusa-Pacific University and Fuller Seminary. His predoctoral training was at St. John's Hospital (Kennedy Child Study Center), U.S.C. Medical Center, and Ingleside Hospital. He has been in private practive since 1987.
