Stephanie Horan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington who has been practicing since 2018. She received her Master’s of Social Work from Brigham Young University with a focus in clinical social work. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Brigham Young University. Since then, she has had maintained training in Suicide Prevention, Crucial Conversations, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Neurofeedback, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Faith Deconstruction, and working with LGTBQ+ populations. Stephanie works with various diagnoses and has specific experience working with teens and young adults with ADHD, Autism, and other learning and developmental disorders. Stephanie strives to incorporate a whole-person view to therapy and finding an individual’s strength to guide them towards what they want to achieve. She believes that each individual has the characteristics and skills to succeed, and just needs the right avenue and confidence in which to express them. Finding a therapist that meets an individual’s needs, someone they can trust and feel comfortable with, is essential. Stephanie’s goal is for an individual to quickly find the balance and confidence they have been searching for. She encourages creativity, passion, and staying true to oneself to unlock confidence and personal success within. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs through exploring the outdoors. When she isn’t visiting new places she also enjoys time at home playing piano, singing, painting, exercising, watching favorite shows, and playing video games.
