Shaun (she/her) has been working with children, teens, and adults diagnosed with various disabilities for ten years the home, school, and community settings. She holds an undergraduate degree from Lewis & Clark College and a Master’s of Special Education from University of Washington. Her professional expertise includes: early-language learning, naturalistic play-based teaching, inclusion, toilet training, parent coaching, teaching vocal language on AAC devices, PECS, and skills-based treatment for severe behavior. Shaun enjoys giving each client a voice so they can advocate for their needs and start making meaningful connections. She prides herself on making therapy fun, following client’s interest, and collaborating with all the main stakeholders in a client’s life (their own preferences, the family, other specialists on the team). Shaun is involved in the ABA community and is currently the Vice President of the Oregon Association of Behavior Analysis and co-chairs the Ambassador committee. When she is not with her clients, Shaun enjoys exploring the PNW with loved ones, cooking, and gardening.
