Theoretical Orientation
Foundationally speaking, Dr. Pike's theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She believes that it has the most effective skills and tools to help clients be able to change for the majority of client issues. However, Dr. Pike acknowledges that not all of the evidence based therapies are CBT oriented and that it is important to defer to the science when there is a better approach.
