Theoretical Orientation
Miranda views counseling as an opportunity for growth in personal health and self-discovery, in the context of a supportive environment through a continuous therapeutic relationship. She works with her clients collaboratively to help them find their strengths and work towards the goals and objectives of the client's needs. Miranda comes from a Person Centered Theoretical background, working to help clients evaluate their thought processes and their actions that follow. Clients should be aware that counseling presents both benefits and risks, as they seek to make changes in their lives. The progress of counseling will be reviewed throughout the process, and modifications will be made as needed. The counseling room is a place of openness, with no judgement or bias.
