Theoretical Orientation
Ms. Perry works from the belief that understanding the client's perspective and accessing a person's natural strengths, tools, and motivation is the most successful way to access change and achieve that person's life goals. She helps clients identify what they want out of life and how to realize this desire using these assets. She draws from an eclectic approach including systems, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, strengths-based, psychodynamic, techniques from the Gottman Method, and emotionally focused therapy. She particularly enjoys assisting her clients in improving interpersonal relationships and boundaries, both individually and with couples. She has found a niche with couples and with adults with ADHD.
