Mikaylee Dato MA, LPC Intern
Mikaylee has received her BS in Psychology and minor in Sociology with a focus in Criminal Justice from Oregon State University. She earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. She worked in adolescent and adult corrections providing various mental health services. Mikaylee is under the supervision of Sharon Hatrak, LPC.
Mikaylee offers Individual and group therapy.
Mikaylee utilizes a client centered strengths-based trauma informed approach to therapy. She believes therapy should be a safe and collaborative process to guide individuals to understand, evaluate, and process thoughts and experiences that will allow for healing. She tailors her theory and interventions to meet each client's individual needs and abilities and therefore, has understanding and practice in various evidence-based modalities.
In Mikaylee's personal time she enjoys being outdoors, exercising, camping, hiking, and boating. She loves to explore new places, travel, and spend quality time with family and friends.
