I will be providing predominantly medication management services at Western, and will collaborate closely with your therapist. Equally importantly, I will collaborate with you! Psychiatric medications can play an important role in your recovery, and it is important that you understand the goals as well as the risks and potential side effects of treatment, and the full range of options that are available to you. My therapeutic approach varies, but is rooted in evidence based practices. I may utilize elements of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and 12-Step Facilitation.
