Matt Lauzon LCSW, CADC I
Matt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (CADC I). He has been practicing therapy since 2007. Matt also has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups for 20 years in various settings around the country including inpatient, outpatient at agencies, group homes, wilderness and community based settings.

Matt utilizes Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, parenting strategies, helping people motivate towards their goals. He has a strengths-based dynamic style that often includes Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, sensory approaches, visual tools and talk therapy that is creatively unique for each person. He has a holistic approach that considers lifestyle, environment, family and internal and external factors. He seeks to help others to find balance in life, create positive patterns and find a deeper self-understanding, more self-compassion and healthier interactions with others. Matt focuses on present functioning and the journey to this moment. He works to help increase one’s ability to be fully present and intentional with one’s actions, accept what we can’t change & focus on what we can and have daily habits add up to achieving long term goals. In therapy, Matt and his clients embark on a path of discovery together to find more effective ways of being.
I enjoy spending time with those important to me especially while hiking and camping or any outdoor activity, travelling, playing and listening to music, following pro sports.
