Mary Chakhtoura CSWA, QMHP
Mary Chakhtoura is a Certified Social Worker Associate in Oregon who has been practicing since 2021. She has a BA Humanities degree and a Master of Social Work degree. Mary helps clients by understanding that they are so much more than their problems and that none of us exist in a vacuum. Mary helps clients become their own therapists by learning about the relationships between thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Clients will learn to identify the cultural factors, core beliefs, assumptions, and dysfunctional automatic thoughts that are contributing to their problems. Mary and the client will then work together to identify and practice more helpful, functional thoughts. These will contribute to richer, more vibrant client narratives about themselves, their relationships, and the world. Outside of work, Mary enjoys camping, gardening, singing in a punk band, and petting as many cats and dogs as possible.
