Marita received her MS in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2003. She is endorsed in infant mental health through the Oregon Infant Mental Health Association (ORIMHA) and has completed a collaborative for Child Parent Psychotherapy.

Marita primarily uses cognitive behavioral techniques, trauma focused approaches, and solution focused interventions to help people create positive change in their lives and heal. Marita is bicultural and believes in practicing cultural humility.
Marita enjoys traveling, reading, crocheting, hiking, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
