Marissa Hensley is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon who has been practicing since 2022. She holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide, a COAMFTE accredited program. Major course work included: Child-Focused Family Therapy, Couples Counseling, Group Counseling, Psychopathology, Psychopharmacology, Ethics & Law, Development within the Family Lifecycle, and Human Sexuality. Marissa believes that each client has the ability to overcome the challenges they face, and she is dedicated to support her clients in a way they agree will be most useful. She utilizes an eclectic approach when working with individuals, couples, and families which highlights client-centered and integrative techniques. Marissa’s main objectives are to assist clients to become more satisfied in their interpersonal relationships, to increase interpersonal and self-awareness, and to improve their social-emotional connectivity. In her spare time, Marissa enjoys adventuring outdoors, traveling, yoga, animals, and music.
