Marina has worked in the field of psychology since 2003, beginning at community mental health agencies in the Portland area. She received her Master's degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University's School of Professional Psychology.

Marina has training in Cognitive-Behavioral and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy. She usually takes a solution-focused and client-centered approach and believes that every person has the ability to take control of their life and make the changes necessary to meet their personal goals. Her role in the therapeutic process is to help clients learn the skills they need to meet those goals.

I speak fluent Russian. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I have worked with clients with a variety of presenting problems including depression, anxiety, trauma, family / relationship issues, grief and loss, parenting issues, and stress management.
