Theoretical Orientation
When working individually, Mac offers strength based humanistic therapy drawing from theoretical orientations including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focus brief therapy, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy. This approach is implemented in support of those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma responses, loss and grief, and other symptoms. Family therapy is grounded in family system theory addressing various forms of conflict and stabilizing family dynamics as family members move through various life cycle challenges.
