Lauren Pillster LPC
Education
Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon, before completing her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University. Lauren's previous training includes community based, academic settings, residential treatment centers for both kids and adults, and outpatient settings.

Theoretical Orientation
Lauren's approach to therapy is grounded in evidenced based practices, and tailors therapy sessions to individual client needs. Trust is essential to the counseling process and it is built between the individual/family, and therapist over time through the therapeutic relationship. Lauren utilizes a range of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Parent Training and Dialectical Behavioral Skills.
