Laura Lyons MA, MDiv, MFT
I have a master's degree in marriage, couple, and family counseling from George Fox University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Additionally, I am a trained facilitator of Prepare/Enrich for couples wanting to examine and enhance their relationships. (See prepare-enrich.com for more information.)
I offer counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
I believe that relationships can help people heal. I offer a safe and compassionate counseling relationship in which I am responsive to your needs, and support you in accomplishing your goals. Your spirituality is welcome in sessions, and I will follow your lead. The theoretical foundations that inform my counseling approach are Person-Centered Therapy, Contextual Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Intersubjectivity Psychoanalysis, and Interpersonal Neurobiology.
In my free time, I enjoy connecting with family and friends, going on road trips, being in nature, reading, walking, and playing board games.
