Kelly Perez de la Cruz LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Parent Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT). I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Washington State University and my Masters in Social Work from Eastern Washington University. Previously, I was a supervisor at a teen peer helpline where I provided support to teens helping other teens about various topics such as self harm, depression, social anxiety, and school stress. I have been working as a mental health therapist for children and young adults providing therapy on anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, early childhood defiance, and significant difficulties with adjustment.
Individual and Family Therapy
I primarily address therapy through a Strengths-Based, Attachment Focused, and Systems Perspective approach. The therapy models I incorporate into therapy include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I view therapy as being collaborative and increasing young people's resiliency to manage life's challenges.
I enjoy reading, crafting, walking, camping, generally being outside, and spending time with family.
