Karen received her Masters in Social Work from Walla Walla University in 2009 and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2019. She has 10 years of experience in the mental health field. This includes working with young children in a day treatment facility, adolescents in an inpatient facility and all different populations and ages in a community mental health setting.

Karen is a client-centered therapist who believes that the clients knows themselves the best. Therefore she is an eclectic therapist who chooses among a variety of different modalities to provide them with the tools that will be most effective for them. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), play therapy, and trauma-focused CBT.
