Josh Dyer PhD
Dr. Dyer is a clinical psychologist who earned his PhD from Purdue University. He completed an internship in Primary Care Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He served on the faculty at UW in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine for 7 years prior to moving to Southwest Washington. He then worked in two large family medicine clinics in Vancouver before joining LifeStance. Dr. Dyer has extensive experience working with clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, pain, and multiple health conditions.
Dr. Dyer utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Meditation, and Solution-Focused approaches. He takes a pragmatic approach to therapy and works to help people engage in value-driven activities.
Dr. Dyer greatly enjoys spending time with his family outdoors. He also enjoys cooking, travel and being generally appreciative of living in such a beautiful place.
