Jessica Bettendorf LMHC Associate, CADC III
Jessica Bettendorf is a Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington who has been practicing since 2016. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. Jessica specializes in working with adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar I and II, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, and addictions. She strives to maintain cultural humility and is LGBTQI+ affirming. Jessica’s approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing from various treatment modalities tailored to the unique needs and life experiences of each individual client. She views individuals as having the motivation and ability to move and grow in positive ways, taking a strengths-based perspective and working to foster and support resiliency. Jessica is trained in evidenced-based approaches, including CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), CPT (cognitive processing therapy), EMDR, and IFS (internal family systems). Her experience traveling and living overseas has helped her to cultivate compassion and understanding for different cultural values and beliefs and has instilled a passion in her for social justice advocacy on the individual and global levels. In her free time, Jessica enjoys coloring, spending time outdoors, going on long walks with her dogs, baking, reading, and spending time with her family.
