WPATH Evaluations

Theoretical Orientation

My theoretical orientation draws largely from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). My philosophy is based on my belief that people do well when they can. Barriers such as stress, trauma and unhealthy coping strategies can be problematic in both individuals and families. As a clinician, I can support your growth in the direction you choose, learning to solve problems and face crises. I will help you move toward your identified goals, which are generally reduced to changes in your behavior, emotional regulation, lifestyle, and perception of self.
