Jennifer earned her BS in Psychology from Washington State University and MA in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University. She has worked with children, families, and adults in the following settings: crisis community based mental health, hospital, and private practice.

Over the past 15 years, Jennifer has worked in a variety of clinical settings providing children, family, and adult services. Jennifer's background has provided her with extensive experience in crisis management support for children and families. Treatment modalities specialized in include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Family Systemic Therapy. Jennifer has extensive training in modalities specific towards clients that have been in foster, adoptive, or kinship placements. She is a strong advocate in providing support to clients effected by trauma, attachment and loss, identity formation within system care, and abuse or substance exposure. It is her belief that a strong emphasis be placed around linking patients to supports to sustain desired change; and she is passionate towards connecting clients to resources.
