Grace Taylor Psychology Intern
Education
Grace Taylor joined Western Psychological & Counseling Services in September 2021 as part of a year-long internship towards a clinical doctorate. She earned an Associate of Arts from Columbia Basin College (2015), a Bachelor of Science from WSU Tri-Cities (2017) and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University (2019). She has completed previous training at Pacific Psychology and Comprehensive Health Clinic in Portland, Tongue Point Job Corps in Astoria, Oregon, and Washington State University Vancouver. Grace has diverse experience treating teens and adults who have experienced trauma and difficult life transitions. Grace’s clinical interests include LGBTQ2S+ folks, relationship concerns, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and sexual health.

Grace primarily employs Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. She respects each person’s current state of existence while reminding them of tools they already possess to accomplish their goals while offering new tools and a change of perspective when needed. Grace works toward making an immediately useful step towards “better” with each visit and collaboratively develops goals with clients.
