Education
Eddie graduated from Portland State University’s Master of Social Work in 2015, he also holds a Bachelors of Arts degree, majored in Psychology and minored in Philosophy. Eddie has been working in the field of social work since 2011. Eddie is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin & English, and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, families and groups in various settings. He is under the supervision of Matt Lauzon, LCSW, CADCI.

Theoretical Orientation
Eddie has studied and practiced Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) and a variety of theories and researches from Social Psychology. He utilized Health Psychology, Personality theories and Moral Development in his practice. Eddie believes that in order to experience joy and fulfillment in life, it is essential to consider all elements of a person’s life including one’s biology, thoughts and feelings and one’s social environment.

Eddie grew up in Hong Kong and came to the states to study. He is passionate about origami, likes audio books and TED talks. He is a drummer and enjoys playing variety of board games and card games. Discussing themes and moral meanings behind stories & movies is also one of Eddie’s major hobbies.
