Brian Hanni LPC
Education
Brian graduated from Multnomah University, receiving a M.A. in Counseling and B.S. in Bible Theology/Youth Ministry. While in his graduate internship he worked with Alliance Charter Academy and Northwest Family Services, co-facilitating Parenting Inside Out and certifying as a Prepare and Enrich trainer.
Services Offered
Individual and Group Counseling.
Theoretical Orientation
Brian approaches every individual as unique, possessing strengths and weaknesses. He considers the comparison of these qualities problematic in that it causes disappointment, disapproval, and disengagement from self and society. Using a combination of motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral restructuring, and existential thought, he helps individuals build confidence and comfort in who they are and what they are capable of, resulting in a more satisfying and pleasurable life.
