Theoretical Orientation
Ashleigh works from a Person-Centered and Systems Theories approach recognizing that each individual has the knowledge and wisdom within to create the change they desire while also recognizing the systems and context at play which influence and either hinder or support this change. She believes counseling to be a process in which client and counselor come together to work as a team in meeting clients' goals and needs. Ashleigh acknowledges the courage it takes to ask for help and to seek counseling; she is honored and proud of each and every person who take this brave step.
