MS in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Certified Medical Family Therapist from Seattle Pacific University. BS in Psychology from San Diego State University. Previous experience includes working in a community mental health clinic, Primary Care Clinics as a Behavioral Health Specialist, and private practice. Specialized training and experience in trauma and anxiety.

Although Alissa's Christian faith deeply informs her own life and work, she profoundly values and respects individual exploration. She believes that therapy is a collaborative effort drawing upon strengths clients already possess. Alissa strives to cultivate a way of being with clients that is welcoming, non-judgmental, and warm in order to nurture hope, growth and change.
Alissa grew up in the Midwest although has called the west coast home for many years. She enjoys theater, water sports, soccer, training animals, yoga, and spending time with her friends and family.
