Services Offered

Family therapy for adolescents and their families, adults age 21-64 and couples. Areas of focus: school behavior problems, parenting issues, home behavioral problems and mental health for adolescents; mental health, relational conflict and marriage counseling for adults and couples.

Theoretical Orientation

Aimee's treatment philosophy is grounded in systems theory which dictates that attention and consideration is focused on the relationships of all people involved and the context of the problem. As a Marriage and family therapist, she believes that lasting change occurs when the people taking action are directly related to that person and problems are most efficiently solved through the collaboration, strength and support of family members.

Aimee worked in an Experiential Family Therapy model during graduate school, post graduate school she received extensive training in an integrated model of Structural and Strategic Family Therapy and utilize this treatment approach in my work with clients today . Aimee also finds applying concepts and strategies from solution focused, motivational interviewing and narrative therapy to be very helpful.
