What: A Mindfulness group with a focus on the body
When: Starts Wednesdays starting on July 13th at 3:00pm- one hour for eight weeks
Where: On zoom
Who: All people 18 & up are welcome- including/especially people new to mindfulness, yoga, people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, pain, people who are active & people who are not active
This 8-week group on Mindfulness will cover the following:
-What is/what's the point of mindfulness?
-Lots of mindfulness exercises
-Gentle yoga (mindfulness w movement)- I'm a yoga instructor- this will be mostly in a chair or lying down
-Practicing returning to present using elements of the body
-Writing & brief sharing about our experiences w some of the mindfulness exercises (not about our particular issues in therapy)
