This psychoeducational group is based on Dialectic Behavior Therapy skills developed by Marsha Linehan, PhD, ABPP. Group members will learn to cultivate mindfulness and skills for distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
The group consists of three 9-session modules that repeat: Module 1- Distress Tolerance ; Module 2 - Emotional Regulation ; and Module 3 - Interpersonal Effectiveness . New group members may join at the start of each new module. +
Who: For current WPCS adult clients, referred by their therapists.
Where: WPCS' Portland site, 12636 SE Stark St, Bldg J, Portland, OR 97233.
Cost: OHP and most insurances are accepted; exceptions are Tricare and Medicare. Cash pay rate is $25/session.
