Viviana holds a Master's in Professional Studies with a focus on Creative Arts Therapy from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has a Bachelors of Science from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Viviana is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon, and an Art Therapy Registered, Board Certified, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in the State of New York. Much of her undergraduate work entailed working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric inpatient
Individual, Family and Group Counseling.
Viviana's personal philosophy is to meet the needs of the client using a Humanistic, Holistic and Solution Focused approach to counseling. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, while working with clients to determine the best therapeutic approach. Her passion is helping children, adolescents and adults find healing and empowerment. Viviana often works with clients using the creative process and utilizing their artwork to explore their feelings, develop healthy coping skills, reconcile emotional conflict, foster awareness, process and heal from trauma, manage behaviors, reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem.
