Valerie Reynolds LPC
Valerie received her B.S. in Psychology from Arizona State University and her M.A. in Counseling from Northern Arizona University. Valerie has over 7 years of experience in individual, family, and group therapy with children, teens and adults. Prior to becoming a therapist, Valerie worked in domestic violence shelter services as an advocate and assisted with opening a new domestic violence shelter in Phoenix, Arizona.

Valerie believes that counseling is a collaborative process, with the therapist and client working as a team. Her orientation is strengths-based and empowerment focused. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy as her primary approaches to treatment.
My hobbies include physical/outdoor activities such as hiking, riding bikes, and dancing. I enjoy listening to music, reading, and spending time with my family, friends and two corgis.
