Tiana Petit-Thompson LPC, LMHC
Tiana has a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College. She is a licensed Mental Health Counselor in Oregon and Washington. Prior to providing mental health therapy, Tiana received formal training and experience in chemical dependency treatment, utilizing mindfulness based interventions and motivational interviewing.

Tiana believes that everyone can reach an optimum state of health and balance in their lives. She utilizes skills and strategies from various theoretical orientations based upon the needs of her clients. Tiana's approach to counseling is grounded within a humanist approach which is optimistic, and attempts to help individuals recognize their strengths by offering a non-judgmental, understanding experience. She believes that the relationship between client and counselor is critical to successful therapy. Tiana recognizes the importance of fitting theories to each client and their needs versus her own personal preferences.
I feel happiest when I am outside after I have had my coffee. I enjoy running and hiking anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. I also love to travel the world with my family, trying new food and experiencing new cultures.
