Undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in French from the University of Portland. Master's degree in Counseling Psychology (emphasis on children and adolescents) from Lewis and Clark College. 5+ years experience working in a day treatment setting, helping children with severe behavioral and emotional issues. 5 years experience in the outpatient (office) setting.
Evaluations, individual counseling (ages 0-21), family counseling.
I believe that therapy should be an integrated process using a variety of treatment models and practices. I utilize Collaborative Problem Solving, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, art therapy, parent education, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills.
I enjoy playing and watching sports, I am outside whenever the weather allows (I have a garden and chickens), I'm active, and I love to cook.
