Shelly earned her B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her Psy.D. from Pacific University School of Professional Psychology.

Theoretical Orientation
Shelly practices from a Gestalt orientation, which is a humanistic, holistic, and phenomenological approach. She believes that symptoms diminish with increased awareness, reconnecting with forgotten parts of the self, and increasing meaningful contact with self/others/environment in order to get our needs met. Shelly's specialty area is working with the transgender community, and she has a strong overall interest in social justice issues and advocacy for minority populations.
