Individual and group therapy and assessments.
Shaun is a licensed psychologist with 13 years of experience treating adults with a variety of emotional, behavioral and interpersonal difficulties. He offers treatment focused on helping people better understand themselves and their emotional patterns, while learning adaptive and constructive ways of coping. In therapy, Shaun develops an interpersonally warm, honest, and collaborative relationship to effectively work toward a client's goals and help them improve their functioning and satisfaction in life. To aid in reaching client goals, Shaun employs a variety of innovative empirically-supported approaches such as: dialectical-behavioral, skills-based, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance-oriented, and exposure-based. He also offers personality and cognitive abilities assessments focused on identifying key issues of concern for the client or party requesting the evaluation. These assessments provide critical information in identifying learning difficulties or memory impairment, as well as the effect of personality on one's emotional and behavioral difficulties.
