Education
Scott received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Ecololgy from the University of California, Irvine. He went on to obtain his Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Chapman University, in 2018. He has worked extensively with children, adolescents and families. During his practicum at Chapman University, he also had the opportunity to work with adult individuals and couples. Scott is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Theoretical Orientation
Scott approaches counseling from a trauma-informed, humanistic perspective, with an emphasis on social justice, client values, respect, creativity and strengths. He has a kind, approachable and non-judgmental therapeutic presence and he strives to create an environment of safety and acceptance for all clients. He also has experience working from narrative, cognitive-behavioral, emotionally-focused, solution-focused and attachment-based approaches.
