Renee Lovejoy LMHC, NCC
I graduated from Lewis and Clark’s Master’s in Professional Mental Health Counseling program in December of 2016. I started my career providing substance use counseling to adolescents and the decided to move over to a position that allowed me to focus more on the mental health aspects for my clients. Since December of 2016 I have mostly focused on providing counseling to adolescents within both the school and clinical settings.
Individual, Family (only in conjunction with working with adolescent) and groups.
I utilize an integrative approach to therapy where I am not married to utilizing one specific type of therapy with my clients. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, emotion focused therapy and other approaches. I focus on making sure that I am viewing my clients from a holistic perspective that is looking for the best techniques to help that specific individual and family to learn how to cope better and more fully enjoy life.
I enjoy hiking, camping, cooking and generally finding the adventures in life.
