More Information
Rachel Overstreet is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Oregon Institute of Technology. She has previously worked in residential mental healthcare, early intensive behavioral intervention, severe behavior, and with adolescents and adults with autism. She has an older brother with severe symptoms of Autism who’s guided her passion in helping others with autism and their families, especially as they navigate puberty and transitioning to adulthood. Rachel has been attending and volunteering with services for her brother her entire life.
Rachel’s passion in this field for helping individuals with autism learn alternatives to severe behavior, navigate the changes associated with puberty and appropriate boundaries surrounding them, and preparing for the transition to adulthood guides her work every day. Rachel seeks out continuing education, training, and research in these areas and more to continually provide the highest quality of services possible. She values evidence-based practices and promoting effective and scientifically based procedures with her clients.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys baking, powerlifting, playing video games, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family, and especially spending time with her adventurous golden retriever, Scout.
