Mychelle Moritz LPC
MA in Art Therapy, Marylhurst University 2002; Post-Masters Certificate in Counseling, Marylhurst University 2005; Art Therapist, Registered 2004, Board Certified 2007; 15+ years experience working with interpersonal trauma and art and play therapy
My approach is based on my belief that personal challenges can inspire growth and deeper healing when the experiences are processed in meaningful ways. I approach counseling in a supportive environment, based on a warm and dynamic relationship, to facilitate awareness, insight, and compassion. I use an eclectic approach, drawing from trauma-informed, narrative, and strengths-based theories to empower each person to make positive choices and find balance, resolution, and new and preferred ways to experience life.
I enjoy running, making art, farming, riding motorcycles, and spending time with my family.
