Monica Gabaldon LCSW
Education
I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work, specializing in clinical mental health and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon. I am trained in various treatment modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Freedom Techniques through Tapping, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Based Therapy.
Services Offered
My practice focuses on individuals across the lifespan. I work with children and families, and adults 18-65+ throughout various life stages.
Theoretical Orientation
My approach to psychotherapy draws upon a number of different treatment modalities to help my clients heal and meet their goals. I offer an empathic, safe environment to discuss any issues my clients may be experiencing. I use a gentle, strength-based approach pulling from attachment based and a trauma focused lens to help bring about awareness, meaning and solutions to my client’s life challenges.
Together we work through any obstacles you may be having and explore self-defeating thoughts that are keeping you stuck. We will work towards a greater sense of self awareness and self-compassion that, in turn, will lead to a more fulfilling life.
