Megan Snow LPC
Megan received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Pacific University in 2001 and received her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University in 2005. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon. Megan has been a provider at Western Psychological since 2005. She is one of Western Psychological and Counseling's adult and child ADHD specialists and also has expertise in parenting issues.
Megan provides individual counseling for children (beginning at age 3), teens, and adults through age 65. She also works with families and loves working with parents.
Megan uses a variety of approaches in therapy based on the needs of her clients. Her primary approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and strengths based. She has a direct, yet compassionate approach and enjoys humor in sessions when appropriate. She provides psychoeducation and resources to clients when helpful. For younger clients, Megan is trained in play therapy and uses this approach in sessions as well.
Megan is an Oregon native and loves the rain, never letting it stop her from enjoying the outdoors. She loves playing outside with her family, being active, and camping. She is an Oregon Duck football fan and loves other competitive sports. If found indoors she is usually trying to wrangle her two wild boys, making some kind of solid attempt to clean up around the house, or has given up and is reading a good mystery/thriller.
