Marsha Leonard
Education
Marsha Leonard is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon who started practicing in 2000. She has a B.S. in Art, an M.F.A. in Dance and Theatre, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and Drama Therapy, an M.Ed. from Erik Erikson Institute For Early Childhood.
Services Offered
Marsha believes the most important aspect to develop is the therapeutic relationship. She feels clients often know what they need, including being heard, respected, and encouraged to grow and expand their ability to connect with their inner emotional being. Marsha thinks that treatment can include a lot of creativity (and a good sense of humor doesn't hurt) and that clients can lead us, actually teach us, what it is they need, and will feel safe in our space so they can express these needs.
More Information
In her spare time, Marsha enjoys gardening, reading, playing piano, being around family and friends, swimming/water dancing, needlework, playing with her dog, and watching her two grandkids grow and develop.
