Lizzie Varner LPC
Education
Lizzie graduated the M.A. Counseling program at Western Seminary, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her previous work experience: A women's shelter, working with women and children in domestic violence situations, an adult rehabilitation center, working with men struggling with addiction. Most recently, Lizzie worked in a community mental health center, working with adults with a variety of issues.

Lizzie's approach to counseling focuses on developing an honest and open therapeutic relationship with her clients that supports a positive change in his or her sense of self. This aids the client to apply positive change in his or her relationships and life circumstances. She works with the client in a collaborative manner, and will work to gain understanding of the past, the client will gain insight into the patterns and challenges in present relationships. Through exploration and empowerment the client will gain awareness in order to live a better future.
