I work with individuals, couples, and families, including adults, adolescents, and children. I provide individual therapy but also strongly encourage the inclusion of family members in the therapy process in order to enhance therapeutic progress and change. I offer therapeutic support to clients of any age. Though my primary experience is in working with children and adolescents, I also enjoy working with adults who are dealing with stage of life changes or struggles related to family dynamics.
I view therapy as a journey that I travel with my clients in the process of improving their lives, moving in the direction that they choose. I practice in a very client-centered manner, meaning that I will assist clients in identifying their own goals and then help them in reaching these goals. My approach to therapy is influenced by Virginia Satir's Transformational Systemic Therapy and draws from a number of theoretical orientations, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing.
I enjoy travel, cooking, music, and spending time with my family.
