Kristi received a MA in Applied Psychological Science in 2021 from Pacific University and is a registered LPC intern with the Oregon Board. She has previously worked as a case manager and skills trainer at LifeStance (formerly Western Psychological) for almost 3 years assisting clients with various housing and low-income resources, practicing/learning coping skills, and implementing various life skills clients struggle with. Kristi has 3 years experience working in a psychiatric subacute lockdown facility with adolescents and teens where she ran skills groups, deescalated clients, and assisted clients in learning and practicing ADLs, coping skills, and mindfulness skills.

With a warm and empathic approach, Kristi's theoretical orientation involves utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and some dialectical behavioral therapy. Kristi believes that people do well if they can and assists clients in identifying what barriers may be getting in the way and how to overcome them. Kristi provides tools to aid in recognition of barriers, helps clients to learn boundary setting, provides information on and implementation of self-care, coping skills, and mindfulness. Kristi believes that goals of treatment should be collaboratively established with clients.
