Dr. Dimalanta uses a variety of approaches based on the needs of her clients. Her primary approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. Dr. Dimalanta is also a Certified Health Coach.
Dr. Dimalanta has experience in a variety of settings, including serving children, teens and their families in a community mental health agency. She also provides clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians. Interests include working with culturally diverse individuals and the LGBTQ+ community.
