Theoretical Orientation
I am oriented from a Gestalt perspective, which emphasizes your individual experience, attention to the present moment, and focuses on bringing holistic awareness to many aspects of your life. Oftentimes, this awareness will bring understanding, and understanding can enable you to make the changes you want. We all adapt to adversity in creative ways, and these adaptations can make us less flexible, leading to difficulties in other areas. I believe that therapy helps us expand our options, make connections, and enable us to lead fuller lives through a collaborative, nonjudgmental relationship.
More Information
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, camping, playing guitar, and seeing live music.
