John Sell LPC, NCC
Education
John has a BA in Social Studies and Philosophy from Erskine College and a MA in Counseling from Covenant Seminary. His post-graduate work includes a two year counseling residency in Family and Psychodynamic Therapy, completion of a two year Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy program, and training in Trauma Focused CBT for Children and Adolescents, as well as ongoing training in Child Parent Psychotherapy. During this time he has worked in hospitals, community mental health, not-for-profit, and private practice.

John enjoys working with a wide range of clients including parents and children at any stage of development, couples, and adult individuals.

He works to help clients find the meaning underneath struggles, address the core of the pain, and then live more freely.

Although passionate about therapy, his first love is his wife and two kids and he thrives when adventuring in the outdoors.
